Global partnerships are in our national interest. The NHS is increasingly interesting in international health work, with growing interest from NHS personnel for overseas learning opportunities and an increasing demand for NHS competence and services globally.

HEE has legal responsibility to make sure that our future workforce is available in the best numbers and has the required skills, values and behaviours to fulfill clients' requirements and provide high quality care. As the NHS workforce organisation for England, HEE is uniquely placed to support the NHS to end up being a worldwide centre of excellence for labor force development.
